A PSA 10 currently sells for about £317.89, raw the card sits at £79.29 — 4,0× as much. Of 56.165 copies already graded, 31 % received a 10 and 50 % a 9. Mathematically, submitting returns £157.07 on average, before fees and shipping. So submitting only pays off if the card truly hits a 10 — at any lower grade little remains after fees. The grade distribution comes from the PSA Population Report; people pre-sort before submitting, so your own hit rate may differ.

Across 518 auctions the median was £88.96, across 738 fixed-price sales £94.20. There is no meaningful difference — what matters here is how fast you want to sell.

Half of all sales fell between £78.30 and £97.80, with a median of £86.39. Selling fast lands you nearer the lower end; with patience, good photos and a complete title the upper end is achievable.

The cheapest genuine sales were around £70.67. Offers well below £42.40 are typically fakes, mislabelled cards or a different variant — ask for photos of all four borders and a close-up of the surface.

From real sales: Italian £102.89 (19), German £85.03 (87), French £82.48 (34). Italian fetches about 30 % more.

lastsold uses only real sales — eBay plus auction houses like Goldin & Fanatics — recent sales count more (recency weighting), outliers and fakes are removed. It's not an estimate but actual sold prices, separated by condition, language and grading.
