A PSA 10 currently sells for about £144.59, raw the card sits at £43.61 — 3,3× as much. Of 26.571 copies already graded, 38 % received a 10 and 47 % a 9. Mathematically, submitting returns £79.33 on average, before fees and shipping. So submitting only pays off if the card truly hits a 10 — at any lower grade little remains after fees. The grade distribution comes from the PSA Population Report; people pre-sort before submitting, so your own hit rate may differ.

Across 419 auctions the median was £35.77, across 682 fixed-price sales £37.27. There is no meaningful difference — what matters here is how fast you want to sell.

Half of all sales fell between £29.71 and £40.05, with a median of £34.44. Selling fast lands you nearer the lower end; with patience, good photos and a complete title the upper end is achievable.

The cheapest genuine sales were around £26.02. Offers well below £15.61 are typically fakes, mislabelled cards or a different variant — ask for photos of all four borders and a close-up of the surface.

From real sales: Italian £53.34 (16), French £48.65 (23), English £32.69 (953). Italian fetches about 80 % more.

lastsold uses only real sales — eBay plus auction houses like Goldin & Fanatics — recent sales count more (recency weighting), outliers and fakes are removed. It's not an estimate but actual sold prices, separated by condition, language and grading.
